Omakere School is nestled in the rural countryside 25 km south east of Waipawa and approximately 15 minutes away from 3 of Hawke’s Bay's most beautiful beaches - Pourerere, Aramoana and Blackhead.

Omakere School, is an extremely well-resourced Enviroschool with 78 Year 0-8 students. We're a large enough for great opportunities and still small enough to care about every whānau. We cater for students from our rural area and students from nearby Waipawa and Waipukurau choosing a country school education experience, embedded structured literacy, proven maths education, and amazing experiences and opportunities.
